LOMA Society of Hong Kong (formerly known as FLMI Society of Hong Kong) was founded in 1978. Members of the society are mainly insurance practitioners and professionals who have earned the designations of Fellow, Life Management Institute (FLMI) offered by the Life Office Management Association (LOMA).
LOMA Society of Hong Kong are under the charter of the US-based LOMA, an international insurance and financial services institution founded in 1924. Today, LOMA has a total of 11 professional designation education programs available worldwide. Amongst them, the FLMI Program is the largest university-level insurance education program in the world. The recent addition of the designation program of Fellow, Financial Services Institute (FFSI) will further benefit insurance and financial services practitioners.
Our Mission:
- To serve as a Learning Community to advance the broad educational interests of its members;
- To promote professionalism by fostering greater understanding and appreciation of insurance management issues amongst members;
- To facilitate networking activities between society members, student-members and other insurance professional;
- To stay in touch with LOMA Societies of other regions.
Over the years, LOMA Society of Hong Kong has dedicated itself to the promotion of professional growth of life insurance practitioners, as well as the general advancement of the life insurance industry of Hong Kong.
